Rain By A Train

It’s been more than a minute since my last blog post.

There is a time and a season for everything.

I’ve spent so much time thinking and talking about life. In the mode of seeking, I’ve made the mistake of watching my train pass me by while thinking of when to board.

In times past, I’ve boarded a train on the wrong track. I didn’t think about which way was mine.

This takes a careful balance. Life is the biggest mystery. It isn’t meant to derive meaning. It isn’t meant to make acquisitions. It is meant to live. Live totally and live equally. Jump into the deep waters.

We are not here for a long time. In fact, in the blink of an eye, we are born from the earth, we live some, and soon return back to dust. What remains?

What is watching birth and death equally? What is watching happiness and distress? That is what you are. That remains, and if you know this, you remain equal with everything. Equanimity.
